Leibnitz, 1646-1716

In his treatise on prestabilised harmony, the German philosopher Leibniz postulates that, as a counterpart to the haggis, there is an animal which can march around the mountains in anti-clockwise direction, thus maintaining the ecological balance. This animal, he claims, must be sought in Australia. So far it has not been discovered however.
