For example, the kangaroo in Australia, which has to fight a continuous struggle against the curvature of the earth (and worse still, has to do it hanging upside down on the earth's surface like the sloth) (Picture 3),
has short front legs and long hind legs,
as required by any animal which specialises in climbing mountains (Picture 1).
