The picture was taken between 1945 and 1948 in winter on the balcony of the house in Bad Godesberg in which the Bung family had found refuge immediately after the war (1939-1945). The house belonged to the paternal grandfather Wilhelm Bung (1873-1953). It is now owned by the Horz family (Britta Bung, married name Britta Horz) and also serves as 'Familienzentrale' (Family Head Quarters).
