*25* Anna Sophia Schulze (1787-1808)

Short description

Anna Sophia Schulze,

born 14 Nov 1787 in Osnabrück, evangelisch-lutherisch, and died on 31 July 1808 in Ibbenbüren, aged 20. (Note: This is extraordinarily young. Did she die in childbirth?)

Father: Johann Friedrich Schulze

Mother: No name given.

Not attested.

Historical note: This is the time of the Napoleonic wars. Find out exactly whether any of his armies were in Germany and where, whether any battles were fought. In that year the French army occupied Rome, Barcelona, Madrid, Goethe and Napoleon met at Erfurt (Germany), so Germany or part of it was presumably under French occupation. Napoleon abolished the Inquision in Spain and Italy. In 1807, Napoleon's youngest brother Jérôme is installed as King of the Kingdom of Westfalia (Osnabrück probably was part of his territory.)

She married Conradt Hantelmann, 1778-1863, in 1806.
